In
the morning of July 10, Inspur Group and EDS, a famous
IT service company, signed an agreement on strategy cooperation
to build the network platform of manufacturing industry
of Shandong Province. This is the third enterprise of Top
500 Enterprises Of The World to cooperate with Inspur
besides LG and ERICSSON.
EDS ranks 80th in the world's top 500 enterprises
which is a leading IT service company in the world and its
solution of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is the best
plann ofnetwork manufacturing. 87 of 120 manufacturers among
the world's top 500 enterprises use EDS products as the
synergic manufacturing tools. Inspur Group has contacted
EDS many times since 2003 and finally they reached an intent
of cooperation. The agreement on strategic cooperation they
signed includes the platform construction of manufacturing
industry network, joint promotion of the training of high-level
talents in the modern manufacturing industry in Shandong
Province and joint exploitation of China market and the
business of international outsourcing.
President Sunpishu of Inspur Group expressed
that in response to the slogan of making the manufacturing
informatization base of the Shandong Peninsula, Inspur
shall try to upgrade the technical strength of its own through
the mutual cooperation in the above-mentioned field to promote
actively the construction of manufacturing informatization
base of the Shandong Peninsula.
It is said that on February 2, 2002, Inspur
established jointly with LG the "Inspur Lejin Digital
Mobile Communication Co., Ltd." in Yantai which is
engaged in the manufacture, research and development of
CDMA mobile phones. On February 4 of the same year, Inspur
established jointly with ERICSSON the ERICSSON Inspur
Wireless Technologies Co., Ltd. which is engaged in the
manufacture, research and development of wireless communication
technologies. |
