On July 28, China Ministry of
Science and Technology, State-owned Assets Supervision and
Administration Commission of the State Council and All China
Federation of Trade Unions announced the list of China first
batch of innovative corporations. After two years of
trial, 91 corporations including Inspur Group were formally
named as the first batch of innovative corporations.
The trial of China innovative
corporations was started from July, 2006, confirming 287
trial corporations into two batches. Among the first batch
of 103 innovation trial corporations, 91 corporations were
finally qualified for evaluation standards of innovation
corporations, formally named as the first batch of
innovative corporations. These 91 corporations cover many
fields and industries including energy, communication, home
appliance and IT. As the leading supplier of computing
platform and IT application solution of China, during these
two years, Inspur had increased investment in technical
research, obtaining outstanding achievements in technical
innovation, intelligent property and internationalization,
enhancing its brand influence and international
competitiveness, to be one of the first five IT corporations
listed.
According to introduction of
related principal of Inspur Group, during the two years of
innovative corporations trial work, Inspur had increased
investment in technical research, increasing the quantity of
independent intelligent properties. From the year of 2005 to
2007, Inspur had increased its R&D fund from RMB 265 million
to RMB 262 million, with a growth rate of 57.2 per cent, and
increased the proportion of average R&D fund in sales
revenue from 5.3 per cent to 7.13 per cent, far higher than
0.77 per cent which is the average level of China large and
medium industrial corporations in 2006. The application
quantity of invention patents (copyrights) had been
increased from 85 to 233, with a growth of 36 per cent. Up
to the year of 2007, there had been 652 patents and
copyrights in the process of application.
In addition, Inspur has also
enhanced its innovation capability markedly. In 2007, the
State Key Lab of Hi-performance Server and Storage
Technology settled in Inspur Group is the only state key lab
established in the corporation in IT domain. As to the
hardware, Inspur has developed China first security server
and energy-saving server. As to the information security, in
2007, Inspur developed Inspur server operation system
security reinforcing system (SSR), China first information
security software used for server operation system, passing
the approval of the Ministry of Information Industry, which
filled up China empty in server security domain. In December
2007, the Technical Requirements on Information Security
Technology and Server Security GB/T21028-2007 had been the
national standard and put in force formally. As to the
software, Inspur has launched several software platforms
including enterprise-level application software development
platform Inspur Loushang Development Platform and GSP
management software business platform, which have been
applied in mass to many industries.
Relying on promotion by
independently innovation, Inspur Server has been ranked the
first brand in market share for successive 12 years,
breaking world records for six times in performance, speed,
and energy saving. Inspur ERP had been the first domestic
brand in growth rate for five years successively, developing
to be China well-known brand, and filling up empty in
China ERP software for no China well-known brand. In 2007,
Inspur Group realized the sale of nearly RMB 20 billion,
ranked one of the top three China IT corporations, forming
its own competitive advantages in leading industries
including server and software. |
