Inspurs development history represents the development history of Chinas server industry. The first domestic server was invented in Inspur in 1993, marking the beginning of the server industry in China. Before long the first set of 128-CPU high-performance system was born, the worlds first one-way, two-way Xeon servers followed Over the past decade, Inspur has created dozens of first. We have undertaken 8 projects of National 863 Program, including the Domestic Server Promotion and Application project and the New Network Server project. Inspur has acquired 28 software copyrights and over 80 core invention patents. In 2007, the State Key Laboratory of High-performance Server and Storage Technology was established in Inspur, which is the first key laboratory supported by China government. Being the only laboratory of such kind in IT industry, we will have more opportunities to undertake national science and technology projects, such as the 863 Program, 973 Program, etc. Our contribution to China server industry development has won us recognition and awards such as Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, Major Technological Invention of IT Industry Award presented by the Ministry of Information Industry, and First Prize of Science and Technology Award presented by China Electronics Association in 2006.

Inspur keeps updating product design concepts based on the research of local customers application demands,IFA, an upgraded product design concept launched in 2007, aimed at specific market, specific application and customized products. It not only improves the whole systems reliability, performance and availability, but also helps reduce cost and save energy. Up to the present, Inspur has developed dozens of products under three lines, namely Tiansuo, Yingxin and Superpower based on Itanium platform.

Tiansuo system, with its innovative Modular Architecture Based on Switch (MABS) to fulfill Flexible Deployment design concept, is perfectly capable of undertaking high-end key business applications including large-scale databases. Since its launch in 2002, it has delivered excellent performance, setting a new TPC-H Business Intelligence Computing world record and breaking the SPEC jAppServer Application Performance Testing world record three times. The system was among the first products certified by Oracle Validated Configurations.

Based on the IFA concept, the Yingxin server has been developed into three series C 1-way, 2-way and 4-way, as well as various types ranging from tower (NP and NL series), rack (NF series) to blade (NX series). We also provide industry-specific products such as storage servers, cache servers and telecom servers, totally meeting the customers individualization demand. Aimed at the innovation in energy saving and safety, Inspur has lauched energe-saving servers and security servers. The energy-saving servers we developed can save 20-30% power and the safety servers have reached the third level of Chinas information safety standards on OS.

We are one of the first certified by ISO9001, ISO14001 in the IT industry. In 2007, Inspur became the only server brand exempted from quality inspection by the government.
